19 students from 9 secondary schools of Thessaloniki participated in the Day of dialogue - workshop titled "It's an art to co-exist" that was organised in the Townhall of Thessaloniki on 30.3.2019, by InArt12 in collaboration with the Secondary Education Directorate of West Thessaloniki - Section of Health Education and the Refugee Education Coordinators. The activity was included in the events of the 7th Festival of Multilingualism of the city.
During the workshop, the adolescents got to know each other, discussed, wrote lyrics and expressed themeslves through music, visual arts and theatre, working in groups with the help of animators and artists. Their work proved that art can become a bridge of communication and collaboration to assist the co-existance of children with different social, linguistic or cultural characteristics in their schools and in their communities.
The event was co-ordinated by George Moschos and members of InArt12, while the workshops were supported by the artists Stavroula Tseliou, Stavros Panagiotakis and Koldo Vio.
